St. Brendan's Community School

Principal's Welcome

Principal Mr J Kennedy.jpg

I am delighted to welcome all visitors to our school’s website. It provides a link between St. Brendan’s Community School and the people of our community. Currently we are proudly celebrating 40 years of service to the pupils of South Offaly and North Tipperary. Over this time, we have fulfilled our mission to educate our students to the highest possible standards. The achievements of our past pupils are exceptional and we aspire to continue this fine tradition into the future.

Our website aims to provide important school news and reports. Student achievements and activities are highlighted regularly. This portal also highlights our participation in co-curricular and extra-curricular areas. These activities combined with academic excellence, produce well-rounded and balanced students. You can also follow us on our St. Brendan’s Community School Facebook page, for news updates and current information.

I must pay tribute to our excellent teaching staff who work tirelessly for their students. They have an extraordinary interest in their students’ well-being and success. The atmosphere in St. Brendan’s Community School has always been a positive and caring one, conducive to the academic and social development of all pupils in our care.

I hope this website addresses the needs of St. Brendan's stakeholders and those of the wider community. It is my wish that our school continues to serve the evolving educational needs of South Offaly and North Tipperary, as it has for the last four decades. I conclude by wishing continued success in all areas of life to our past/present pupils, teachers and parents/guardians.
