“Good Uniform = Good Discipline”
The wearing of the school uniform is not a matter of choice. It clearly demonstrates the recognition by the students and their parents/guardians of their acceptance of the school.
Non-compliance with the dress code will be taken as a desire to withdraw from the school.

The recommended type of trousers is a black, work style trousers and is available in local shops. Trousers should not be figure hugging or yoga pants or track suit style pants Black jeans/tracksuit bottoms are not substitutes for black trousers.

School Jacket
An official black jacket with the school crest and initials (optional) is now available in Declan Phelan’s costing €50. It is recommended that ALL students buy this jacket. Please also note, for students who wish to wear an extra layer over their school jumper, there is a new approved half zip or black school jacket, which may be ordered online from the link on our school website.
Note: During school hours students are not allowed to wear any other jacket in the school building.
